About Dr. Arkadiy Sarkisov

Arkadiy Sarkisov D.Ac, Dipl. Ac, LMT is a national board-certified (NCCAOM) and Michigan-licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist.

Dr. Sarkisov has extensive experience in the medical field, beginning his career in 1985 and adding acupuncture to his credentials in 1992. He first received a degree in Physical Therapy and a certification in Medical Massage from Azerbaijan State University of Physical Culture and Sport (ASAPES). He then continued his education at Nizhny-Novgorod Medical University, one of the first Universities in Russia offering acupuncture training for medical professionals. At that time, he obtained his certification in Medical Acupuncture.

In 1996, Dr. Sarkisov immigrated to the United States, where he continued to practice massage therapy and acupuncture. While maintaining a thriving practice in the United States, Arkadiy furthered his education by earning a Master’s in Chinese Acupuncture from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine (Summa Cum Laude) (2007), and a Doctorate of Acupuncture from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (2022).

He is a member of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), the Michigan Society of Acupuncturists (MiSA), the Michigan Medical Acupuncture Association (MMAA), the American Medical Massage Association (AMMA), the American Manual Medicine Association (AMMA), and National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA).

In addition to his classical education in acupuncture and massage therapy, Dr. Sarkisov has experience and training in infertility and gynecological disorders, as well as gastrointestinal, neurological, and respiratory disorders, autoimmune diseases, and Long COVID or post-COVID conditions.
